Thread: V8 LT77 Gearbox to a 300TDi bellhousing?

As title above, can you bolt a V8 LT 77 to a 300TDi bellhousing? Is the spigot shaft same dia. (flywheel end) and length of spigot shaft the same. Appreciate any info, Thanks, Regards Frank.

I dont think so. You will find that the bell housing is different (longer) and the input shaft is longer.

Its not just a simple case of swapping bell housings and input shaft either. I think there are a few other bits you need to swap inside the box as well.
