    Flashing odometer

    Hi folks,

    Anyone know what a Discovery II blinking odometer means? It has been blinking on and off each second since back from extended loan a couple of days ago.

    I've read the manual but there is no mention of such a thing. No side effects as far as I can tell but it is getting on my nerves.

    computer has picked up an electrical fault
    various different reasons it might be are alternator, maf, battery,
    also read somewhere about mismatching mileage on speedo and BCU, but not likely to be the case for you.

    get someone with a nanocom to read faults and clear them and then see if it stays away.

    This does happen acaisonally it can reset with the t4 l/rover computer by relearning odometer update
