diamond lacing tool - crew cab quaterlights

    Hey guys,

Have put in a rear quaterlight window previously into my 130, with just a screwdriver and harsh words.

Thinking of getting my windows tinted (ripped out the aircon, and summer will be here soon) - have been warned I'll probably have to take out the quaterlight panels to have them tinted.

Wouldn't mind having a 'Diamond Lacing Tool' (in the event I need to put them in myself, or ever need to handle the seals again)

anyone have any idea where to find one?
-alternatively I may attempt to just make one but welding some wire to a sawn off screwdriver

Found a couple here but they are a bit expensive!

Have you tried Repco or Super Crap Auto?

Snap on do have them. Try Clark Rubber, they supply the rubber chanel and filler strip so make sense they have the tools. If you don't have one nearby let me know, there's one 5 min away.

I bought mine from Autopro. Now look , put the lacing or filler strip on the inside. I had mine on the outside and left the 110 at Brissie Airport for a few days. Locked up. Came back found it with all doors open and stripped.
The thieves had just pulled out the filler strip pushed out the glass , reached in and unlocked the door.To make it worse the knocked off all my Whitworth spanners. They would not know what they were.

I made mine by bending up some spring steel wire I had in my aeromodelling supplies. The ends were epoxied into a wooden handle.
