Exactly what amtravici says , you going to need a Calibration Kit
(Calibration Kit for #1403, #1404, #1801, #1802, #1803, #1804)..........Part# 1486
You need to find out what rods, jets and springs you allready have as your proably going to have to come down in size a fair bit , because the Kits invariably are for jetting up not down .
Still Love to know what a standard 500 Weber is supposed to be !!!!!
How about a triple barrel 55MM DCOE (Last of the Porsche webers )
Okay ,yeah dont use mush carter AFB plastic carbs, dont do Frauds,LOL(Rochester quaddys are much more fun !!!LOL)
But I did use weber metering blocks on 750DP Holley ,beats trimming the Bleeds .
These Edelbrocks only have different size nozzles , so no diaphragm or cam like a Holley
(for accelerator pump adjustment that is but it still has a plunger and seal !!)
I had a weber for a while after fitting a 4.6 into my 84 rangie. I found it hopeless offroad because they flood and stall on inclines and very difficult to re-start if not impossible on a slope. Edelbrock ended up making a version (I think they call it truck avenger) of this carby suitable for offroad - don't know if you can fit the parts that changed.
I ended up getting an adaptor for the edelbrock manifold and fitted a quadrajet from a holden V8 - much, much better.
