    Rear Cam seal TD5

    Hi Guys

Has anyone had to replace the rear cam seal on a td5? it sits just below the rocker cover gasket D...

It looks like its that that has given up on the deefer and allowing oil and breather gasses through (now the provent is oiled up and increasing pressure)

I'm assuming it will be relatively cheap, but searching brings almost nothing up..

    part number is err5369

I've changed a few but only with the head off. It shouldn't be too hard to remove it in situ.

It just presses in. fitting the new one is easy

Its a right ***** to get in with the head mounted. When I changed the head I forgot to install the new seal when I had the head out.

There is a lot more space in the deefer at the back of the engine.. so i am hoping it will be a bit less of a trial..

I know how bad just getting the rear cover off on the disco is as i did it twice and then left it off!
