Disco fuel pump issues
Hey guys. Could anyone give me some advice please on my problem. I have a 1995 3.9 v8 disco. I recently had the engine reconditioned with a stage 2 cam inserted for better mid range power. It now has better mid range power for towing the boat and the van but I have a few problems that have arisen such as stalling, and and I wonder if this might be a fuel pump problem.
Then today I went on a short drive and when I tried to start the car again it wouldn't start. Sounded as though it was starving for fuel. I replaced the in line fuel filter but it did not fix the problem. I wonder how much a fuel pump is also in AUD? It is the in tank one. Are they difficult to replace?
Any advice would be helpful.

The Commodore high pressure in tank pump fits in no problems. Make sure it's the high pressure version, as there are two types. Others surely will advise, and there are some threads on the subject.
The procedure is straightforward and should take 30mins. The last time I bought one (last year) it was about $100 at Repco.
