I run 1mm toe in on my fwd/4wd japanese cars and I also run 1mm toe-in on my rangie. It was wandering averagely bad until last weekend where I found it was running zero toe. Now back to 1mm in and feeling right.

Worst wandering it's ever had was 4mm toe-in.
The 'fender drives dead straight with 2mm out but it has 27" extra inches between the axles that stabilise/slow the responses.

IMO tyre construction plays a big part in what alignment settings give the best compromise.

Want to try real wander ?
15mm toe out with the Ackerman intersection point at 2/3 the wheel base gets things groovy up front
