Bosch do a D1 V8 set that's as good or better, most auto stores should be able to order them.

And if not you can make up the set from the individual leads. I did this recently and with the sale super cheap were having got a full set for just under $55, where as the kit I bought last time cost me close to $80.

Bosch are quality leads in my experience.

I purchased my first set of Magnecor leads in 1987 for my Rover and replaced them in 2007 some 210,000km later. They didn't need replacing as they showed no signs of degradation but I wanted new leads for my new engine.

I can say without reservation that Magnecor leads are an excellent product, and they will custom make your leads to the correct lengths with the correct boots to suit your engine.

I purchased mine from the manufacturer in Sydney and just waited whilst they made them up for me.

geez, i must have been doing something wrong. i have never had a rover v8 run as nice on bosch leads as i did on the magnacore product. in fact the leads i replaced on my first v8 disco were new bosch leads and the difference as very noticeable.

and both my rangies got the same treatment.

definitely worth the extra money in my experience...

I used to use Eagle Leads (made in Penrith, not too far from Ron ) on my race cars and F100 tow rig with a pretty warm 351C running on LPG.
Actually, I used them on SWMBO's GQ Patrol too.

Eagle Products Silicone Leads - Australia's largest privately owned ignition lead manufacturing company

Seeing that we've run diesels for the last 11 years I haven't had to worry about leads.

How long ago was this? Bosch changed their technology to spiral core less than 10 years ago. Before that I have no knowledge of their performance as I was using Top Gun leads. I fit 1-4 sets of the new black Bosch leads every month, they don't give me any grief.
