Can't the local shop recoil it according to your specifications? Shouldn't cost too much.
The radiator in my 95 110 300tdi is sad and i would like to replace it with something more robust, i have not yet found anything other than standard replacements. Are there any suggestions?

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
As Jojo said, any decent radiator shop can re-core it with a four or five row core, or PWR on the Gold Coast make a shmick and $$$$ all aluminium HD version.
Actually, I think ADRAD list a full aluminium HD version in their performance catalogue too.
I agree, people forget that parts have a limited lifespan, and when they break they automatically want to upgrade to something stronger.
OEM parts do the miles with tremendous performance, just save your money and replace with the same. Do you intend to keep your vehicle for another 16 years?
