    Exclamation 4 litre v8 engine

    Hi all,
    We are looking for a 4 litre v8 engine for our Discovery 2 (second hand, rebuilt or brand new). Any suggestions on where to source one in Australia?
    We found one supplier in South Australia who could sell us a brand new one , but we'd like to have other offers.

    Try Brisbane Motor Imports,see if they are bringing any Jap 1/2 cut D2s in.
    I have bought Jap secondhand motors from them in the past,cheapest in Australia at the time,even with freight.

    I would NEVER buy a second hand 4.0 engine unless I intended to rebuild and "top hat". See the thread asking the same question and my answer that it is estimated that 80% fail.( which I guess is your problem)

    Try T.R Spares in Padstow N.S.W. I have had excellent dealings with them for almost 25 years.

    Michael or Scott on 9709-5611.

    (they have no connection with the business in S.A)
