Anyone recommend a very good LR mechanic in Perth?
I'm tossing up between Jordan Rover-Tech and West Coast Rover.
Any ideas ?

despite conversing with a lot of 'showboaters' LR mechs - I have gone with gut instinct and gone to Franzone Motors East Perth. I've been an engineer for over 30 years - and I can detect BS at 1000 paces. Detector went berserk after chatting with a few LR mechs - detector remained silent at Franzone.
Have to say so far - I'm impressed - lot of 'other' LR mechs I talked to said I needed to 'do this' and 'do that' etc etc (i.e. replace plastic dowels on a head that has not overheated or warped...)
Long story short - if you don't want any BS - go to Franzone !
So far - very happy with them !
Nah ,wouldnt go to Franzone unless you had a Jag .
Speak to Kev at Rovertech !
2 mechanics wrongly diagnosed our RRS tdv8 to have turbo failure ($$$$, body off to change them - see my old thread in the D3/RRS section). Took it to Kevin at Rovertech and he correctly worked out that one egr valve was knackered. No issues since!
Did I read on here somewhere that there were three independents that had the software for all the late models (software for Landies, ugh), Rovertech, Franzone, and ?
I've had very good service with Steve at Lifestyle 4wd in Morley. He's been very accommodating in a couple of "emergencies".
Cheers
