    TD5 engine oil leak????????

    I appear to have oil coming from the rear of one of our TD5's. Up top back of the head. Pretty sure it's not the rocker cover gasket , it's only 10 months old. I also can feel a small bolt head with rubber washer???? under it,, at the back of the head about 4 inches down,,not sure if its coming from there either, as I can't see, only going by feel. I had been blaming the rear crank seal for oil drops on the floor, but I can now see it's coming down from up there. Any thoughts appreciated..

    The rocker cover gasket on one of my TD5s started leaking when the vehicle was new. The dealer used sealant on the new gasket, obvious from the blue silicone.

    As said probably the rear cam shaft inspection cover, plastic with an O ring. I found that by replacing the o ring it will stop the leak as the o ring wears over time. Initially I removed mine ran several layers of thread tape in the groove and then inverted an refitted the o ring. This stopped the leak.
