    Immobiliser won't stop immobilising!

My car has an aftermarket immobiliser (autowatch 573) that deactivates by a proximity sensor and key fob.*
    At least it should.*
The little blinking light won't stop blinking and the car wont start.
I think the immobiliser works by cutting the power to the engine management (wolf 3D) so the engine turns over but there is no spark or fuel injection.

Any thoughts on what might be the problem or where to start looking?
I am fairly useless when it comes to auto electrics so any help or advice will be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Dave

The transponder key fobs don't have batteries and I tried both sets I keys in case it was a problem with that.

Considering just replacing the immobiliser rather than spending ages trying to trouble shoot...

Call MR AUtomotive... I had a similar incident just last week and it was a wire short from the imobilizer behind the Front LH headlight in a 2003 Defender..
