Thread: very inexpensive digital temp gauge

    I extended the wire with some old car speaker wire of a similar gauge. i measured the room temp at 22c before I extended the wire and it still showed 22c after extending by another 2 metres. I soldered the wires together and covered with the joints with heat shrink.
