    if your lucky the 5th gear selectors grub screw has come off and its just not selecting. find the grub screw, replace it and you'll be good again.

    Its not a fun job and at a minimum means dropping the gearbox down while you have a look see. (just remove the cross member, the inside covers the engine mounts and lower it on a decent jack.
