Oh, and I've used lots of used ones of these on other vehicles, strangely the OEM hoses off a '94 EF are better quality than OEM hoses from an '04 BA. What generally kills them is backfires on LPG.

The closest ford parts guys (200km away) got a bit lost over the phone. I've emailled them the photo from the ebay auction so we'll see how it goes.

Bee Utey, any chance of a chassis number or similar to help the search? Even an engine bay photo showing the location would be good. There's an EB falcon a few km away and that's it locally.

You won't find one on an EB, only the EF. They connect the pipe from the air cleaner to the plastic intake section on top of the engine, pictured here:

As I said, they are at the back of the engine, to the right of this picture as seen from the LH mudguard. Most EF owners throw these away and upgrade to silicone hoses and stainless, or the EL or AU intakes as they are much neater.

So, the hoses I want are twins from the long plastic duct off the air-filter to this manifold right here?

Ford have discontinued that part. Do you have any contact details for your supplier Bee Utey?

You can either contact them direct: welcome to Mega Gas Australia or I can whiz down there later in the week and grab one/two for you, he's only 20km away. PM me your details if you want me to get one and send it. They are around $20 each.

That would be awesome. Just called the guys and yes they have them but posting one to NZ sounded just a bit too hard. Listening to MMM on hold cracked me up, it's been a long time since I've heard some real undiluted aussie accents.
