					Hi, just a quick question to anyone that may know.
 
I have been having a bit of a problem getting my transfer case back into high range in my 1996 Auto D1. It keeps grinding against the gears. I try doing it on the move, stopped, giving it some revs to match the speed and eventually it will pop in. It goes into low range ok. Is this a sign it's on it's way out.
 
My question is, I have seen an Automatic transmission and transfer case out of a 1987 RRC in good working order. Are these the same as the Disco for a direct swap.
