to an extend with lights you get what you pay for

so dont expect miracles for that price, but you will get ones that will improve your lights making it better to have them than not

Some Choices in the 20 Cm and larger size

Hella Rallye 2000 - Now discontinued but a fair bit of NOS still around Around $400 a pair
Hella Rallye 4000 - Replacement for the 2000 Around $400 a pair
Hella Rallye 4000FF - with Freeform reflector. Dearer than the others but a freeform reflector

Cibie Super Oscar - Around $400 a pair

Lightforce XGT New style of 24 CM light - Around $500 a pair

Lightforce Genesis 210 - smaller version of the XGT with similar styling

Lightforce Blitz 240 Seem to be being discounted now the XGTs are on the mrket - a pair can be had for less than $400.00

Lightforce 170 Striker - smaller version of the Blitz - can be had for less that 300 a pair

Narva Ultima 225 - Around $350 a pair. Not as deep a reflector as the Cibie or hella offerings

Narva Extreem - Around $400 a pair Unusual mounting system

Narva Taurus Bull lights. Around $250 a pair but use the old post stlye mount and you need enough room on your bar.

Fyrlyt - Fyrlyt.com - These seem to be competing in the Heavy vehicle market againts HIDs.

I can get narva extreem for just over $200......might be a good buy

don't rule out cheap drivies and fit an hid kit,worked a charm on my old hella's

What vehicle will they go on? The ultimate in long range driving lights are Hella searchlights, P/Nos. 1503 & 1507. They are big.

The Taurus is a chrome version of the black bull light, an old favourite with truck drivers. I have a pair fitted to my car and it is my opinion that they are the best non HID light available. Space can be an issue, I had to modify my bar. Specialist truck shops will offer keener prices than 4x4 0outlets, I paid less than $100 per light. Kits are very much dearer than buying two individual lights, a switch, relay and a bit of cable.
