    ZF kickdown cable

    Hello to everybody .
Is there a way to tell if my ZF auto kickdown cable is broken inside at the box end .
Lost virtually all line pressure in the box and the kickdown adjustment is making no difference .
If its broken at the box end will the inner cable be able to be pulled all the way clean out from inside the outer . Like an old pushbike brake cable !

I had mine break late last year and i cant remember if it can be pulled right out or not, seem to think there was a ring crimped on the cable preventing it from pulling out. Its a bugger of a job but not difficult to replace, iwas able to do it without removing the crossmember but had to remove one the left t/case mount to get the sump off the ZF.

I had one fail not long after a rebuild, pretty sure the valve body had to come out to replace it.
