Switch Wiring...
Hey,
I think I know the answer to this (not doable) but I'm hoping someone smarter than me will have an answer I like better!
I've got some carling v1da switches that control my ARB Air Compressor and Diff Lock.
The way ARB have them wired is the top light (the one with the legend picture) comes on when the switch is turned on and the bottom light (the indicator bar) comes on with the headlights.
My inner OCD side thinks this should be the other way around, ie. the top light with the legend picture should come on with the headlights - that way you can see what the switch does at night time - and then the bottom light should go off/on with the switch to show if it's off or on.
Any advice on how to make the switch do this? Here's a picture of the switch pin outs (as far as I can figure)...Untitled.jpg
Thanks,
Nathan

Thanks but that wasn't it either... That activates the icon light with the switch on and/or the headlights...
I've got a new carling switch and that lets me wire up the lights to come on whichever way I like so it might just be an old switch that can't do what I want it to...

Do you know what post 2 does on the switch?
That could be why the light comes on when either on or headlights, it should be doable, it 's not rocketry

Post 2 shorts with 3 when you switch it. It doesn't seem to affect the light.
