I would be looking for dirt in the sensor air gap (most common problem).
Failing that check the wires from the sensors on the suspension for damage.
Failing that checking the actual sensors,
Failing that looking at the ABS shuttle valve for dirt etc (I believe rebuild kits are now available). A brake fluid change might help - problems are often caused by dirt in the brake fluid.
Failing that - I guess a new module.
Look at the easy things first - get the codes read and this should show where to start looking first.
The 3 Amigios are a common D2 issue as it is in the Freelander 1 and I also have suffered the same problem - all mine have been crud in the air gap between a wheel sensor and the rotor (a gentle squirt with the hose or compressed air has fixed it). I change my brake fluid often so have not had a modulator problem.
Good luck with it. $5000
- I would be taking it elsewhere.
