    Lifting a disco 1?

Hey all, I have been told that I can lift my disco 2 inches with nothing but the springs changed! Is this true? So leaving my shocks in and only putting 2" lifted springs in! What is needed to lift her 4"? Gotta dick with fuel lines etc?

A 2" lift is easy. You could do just springs if your shocks are good and on a budget but if you want better flex some longer ones would help. Every Disco is different, some will not show any effect with 2" but others can wander and need caster correction. Also you need to make sure your brake lines are long enough, most time you can just move the bracket.

A 2" lift is cheap where a 4" lift will have you digging deep into your wallet. A lot more has to be done to have the car driving correctly. Someone that has done it should be able to help here.
    Cheers, David.

best thing to do is a 2 inch supension lift
    &
    a 2 inch body lift

    overall height of 4 inch

going more than 2 inch on suspension you will need castor/trailing arm correction

Ok guys, took my disco out today. It went well. BUT it definitely needs to lifted (lots) SOOOO I need to know what brackets etc need to be made, what needs to be lengthened etc. I've got 2"springs coming. But I'd like to make 2" blocks for body lift also. Whilst I'm here, what shocks are best to run with +2" for good reach. Spent a lot of time with wheels off the ground today. If somebody has a list of stuff needed to do for the lift I'd really appreciate it.
