The 3rd reading when set to 2 wire is a "ghost" reading, it's not something the ECU is actually registering. Set the TPS to suit the TPS that is actually fitted.

With the flashable ECU you can actually load a factory map to suit the EU2 engine. Depending on the ECU the required maps are:

Td5 EU2 Manual (ROW):
NNN000120 sthdr009-sttdp009
NNN500020 sthdr009-sttdp010

Td5 EU2 Auto (ROW):
NNN000130 suhdr009-sutzp004
NNN500030 suhdr009-sutzp005

If you download the Nanocom One PC application from web.nanocom.it you'll find an app called "Nanocom Map Wizard" as part of the install. The map wizard allows you to generate most factory maps for the Td5 motor.

I've attached a zip file containing the above maps.

Thanks so much for that Paul. I tried to find the EU2 maps when I tried a search a few weeks back so your help is very much appreciated.

When I get a Nanocom again I will give that a try, but hopefully I sort out the issue before then.

Got it sorted yesterday - the timing was set wrong. I am amazed she ran at all. The crank was out by at least 5degrees.
I discovered that the hole I found in the flywheel through the bellhousing hole was just a hole and not the timing notch. Took me a little while to figure it out. It would have been beter if the timing was out enough for the engine not to run at all. At least then I would not have spent so much time fault finding. But that's life.
