D1/RRC vs Def front axle?
Just some thoughts that I'd had, and for no particular reason (I have a Disco2 and a couple of Series Landies).
Is there a difference between the Defender front axle and the D1/RRC front axle?
I wonder this because the Defender appears to have a lot more belly clearance.
It got me wondering if there were differences for example in:
> Radius arm mount rotation to the axle housing
> Rotation of the slots for the swivel housing
> Radius arm geometry etc.
or is the premise that the Defender and D1/RRC have different ride heights actually incorrect.
If the premise is correct, is it an option for lifted D1/RRC to use a Defender front axle to make the necessary corrections or would this not work because of factors such as pinion angles etc.
Cheers
