89 rangie central locking fuel filler fault
Had the weirdest thing today .
My 89 rangie fuel filler lock started non stop actuation in out in out in out !
Got hotter and hotter then a weird smell but not like and electrical burn smell .
Made it home and looked into the problem . Eventually decided to cut the actuator wires and threw out the actuator . All good now just no more fuel lock .
I would have thought these components would simply work or fail , not suffer this non stop actuating !

the old falcons and commodores used to do the same thing with their central locking, ignition on or off. Pretty funny, cept the batteries always went flat.
