Thread: 89 rangie zf auto swap gaskets reqd

Soon to swap my zf auto for a 2nd hand box . Will be using my existing tfer case .
What gasket sets will I require to purchase before I start the swap ?

I was going to say 'none', but there is actually a gasket on the little round plate on the bottom of the bell housing, and a rubber gasket on the flywheel cover. The rubber one is re-usable unless damaged and the little round one could easily be replaced with goo of some sort. There are no gaskets between the engine & transmission nor between the transmission & transfer. Worth fitting a new seal to the front of the transfer case whilst you have them separated.
