What about maintaining the rims and hubs and replacing the axle. I don't think the axles are all that expensive.
I am after some advice
I have a No5 Army trailer that has the same wheel track as a series Land Rover this was fine until i bought a Defender.
It looks like the No5 has a wheel track of 130cm and the Defender 150cm
I know I will never gain a full 20cm by changing wheels but maybe I could gain a little.
Can anyone give some advice on what rims I could use to reclaim a bit of the difference the existing rims are AYG8108.
What about maintaining the rims and hubs and replacing the axle. I don't think the axles are all that expensive.
Cheers

Slunnie thanks never thought of that
The hubs are unique I would have to get the axle specially made
