Don't reckon it'll be the diff lock. More like the sensor or the wiring ....
Hi All this morning my diff lock warning light started glowing slightly, not at full brightness. I wasn't in diff lock and was doing about 100kmh when it started to glow. So Ipulled over, locked the diff, it light up fully, unlocked it, was wound up, so had to reverse then it went off and stayed off all day.
This has not happened yet. Is the the forewarning of something terrible? Or does it happen sometime. Was the diff lock getting slightly locked on its own?
bye all

oil contamination inside the switch is the usual suspect.
to confirm select the diff lock and if it comes up to full brightness its the switch.
