2 inch lift, check suspension stuff; flexi coils and shocks to suit. It depends on $ you want to spend as well. You have opened a can of worms as there are lots of choices.

Silver stones, would depend on tyre size you look at fitting. A friend has 33's and seem ok. A tyre shop will let you know what you can fit to the standard rim. I think it's about a 265/70/16.

OK... Apologies if I'm asking my granny to suck eggs but...

Do you know why you want a 2" lift and what the implications are of fitting a lift??

I have a '95 130. I wanted more compliant suspension due to an old neck injury from a M/C accident. I went to Dobinsons (Narrellan - outer suburb of Sydney) and they had a spring for just about any spring rate or height you would want. The guy there spent some time on the phone to head office in QLD and got the low down on every spring that would fit and went over them with me to get what I wanted. I went to other places and it was pretty much 'this is what we do for a Defender, take it or leave it'. At one very big national suspension specialist company, when I mentioned 'more compliant' the guy just said, "We don't do soft" and that was that. Although I wasn't after a lift I ended up with a lift of 45mm rear and 25mm front and couldn't be happier; it floats over bumps but will still carry a load of camping gear without compromising ride.

Anyway, that was my suspension hunting experience.

camel landy, yeh bud, i dont exactly live in perth and some of the tracks i get along on a weekly basis challenge a hilux with 2" lift and 33" muddies,..... im doing this more for the ease of mind and im sticking with the stock tyre size, dont want to much stress through the drive chain, axles are expensive to ship to this neck of the wood haha,

thanks for your reply mate and i dont mind to much on the cost, id like a reliable and preferable adjustable set. ive heard tough dog can cut it easily but id like more suggestions if im forking out for a good set

Im with Camel Landy on this one.
A lift wont make your vehicle more capable or give it more ground clearance.
The axles are still going to be the same distance off the ground.
In fact it will be LESS capable in serious off road conditions becasuse the centre of gravity will be higher & it will roll over easier. It will also be LESS stable on the highway.

You will also not be able to park in carparks 2.05m or lower, tho that wont be an issue in Karratha.

And if you comparing to to a Hilux with a 2" lift & 33" muddies the standard Defender is way more capable already.

.That said the springs Ugu80 have sound very nice.

i do know that the lift will not lift the axles that isnt the issue, its the chasis clearance and fuel tank at the rear that is the issue and yes i have a full mono skid plate along with full all round rock sliders since im a boilermaker i have the ability to create whatever i like and improve on existing designs specifically for what i need, all i am saying it that a 110 is still gets a good scrape, the axle isnt so much of an issue, i know they are low and i know they can be hit thats why i have sliders, also when you face a tricky obstical such as a steep ridge of rock you need that extra chasis lift, im not keen on thrashing the poor sod on the highway and rarly sit above 90, and seriously were is there to go? and no haha car parks are not an issue i believe the lowest thing around me is maccas drive through...
