    Arrow loud squawk when cold

My td5 d2 manual makes a squawk noise mainly in reverse when it is cold. When my clutch and flywheel were replaced the bush in the fly wheel seemed ok but the squawk has been present since. this goes when the transmission warms up. Just wondering if this is a common noise with manual d2 and defers with a td5. I was told by MR AUTOMOTIVE that they see many with a simular noise.

Spigot bush in the back of the flywheel is the cause, They need to be replaced when clutch is done. The new ones need to be soaked in oil prior to installation, NOT GREASE, preferably the oil needs to be forced through the bush until it 'bubbles' out of the exterior.

    Yep spigot bush

By about 150kkm they all seem to do it in my experience, also depends on how much the clutch has been depressed in it's life.
