    mine is a dayco 7pk 1870.....they dont stretch by the way. I have a feeling youve been trying to fit a belt for a td5 without ace.

    That's because I don't have ace . It's a defender. Justin as per normal seems spot on. The belts I got seemed about 25mm too short. Doing a Google on his part number brings up plenty that talk about defender's with Australian spec air conditioning. I guess the person who owned it before needed something urgently so used a land cruiser belt which is a bit short but fitted but confused matters
