Thread: D1 Troubles

Hi ppls , i got me a 91 disco 3.5 lt , iv been haveing issues with serging and dont wanto rev past 4000 rpm , any ideas ?? Got me stumped , iv done leads plugs , dizzy cap , fuel pump and filter and cleaned the air flow sencor , can any one help ??

Check the Fuel Pressure Regulator (or replace), have the injectors replaced or cleaned and is the 'dizzy' cap original or aftermarket, don't seem to run well with aftermarket.
4000rpm, can't see the need for revving that hard, why do you want to rev it higher, Regards Frank.
