Have never done that in all of the landy's I have owned. Have an good idea of what their fuel consumption is but have always driven diesels rather than v8's. not down to fuel price just justification of the fuel they use.

Had a mate who used to have Xl sheets with every tank he had ever filled and had the idea if he coasted down hill he would save fuel. Also used to turn off any electrical stuff in the car that he was not using in order to save fuel as he thought that would save the alternator which in turn would give him a better fuel economy.

I record it all but couldn't be bothered up loading

I just drove from Newman to Kalgoorlie and back and I'm wondering if I should have bought a V8 with the amount of diesel it used. Pat

I don't give 2 ****s about fuel consumption except when going remote.

And then I use an high approximate and add a swell factor to that.

You were going to drive anyway. What's knowing how much fuel it took matter?

I do run an xl spread sheet purely for my own interest and have recorded worse than 15km/l to 9.3km/l and I do not drive for economy. I drive to the conditions, use the power to overtake quickly and enjoy driving such a nice vehicle.
My overall average since new in March 2012 and 36,000km later is 11.5km/l.
My wife has been driving it while I have been away at work and I have been told that I am only getting it back as it needs fuel.
I will be interested to see what she can get re economy when I fuel it up on Tuesday. I suspect it will be good as she drives like Miss Daisy.

my old 2.4 hilux - 7.6l/100km
2.6 series 3 109 - as low as 17l/100km, as much as 27l/100
4bd1t RRC - ~11l/100km doesn't change too much, although when it gets driven hard it goes up to around 13l/100km

driving style is what affects the consumption most, different drivers will get different consumptions in the same car. its nice to know how far you can get on a tank if you stretch it out, or how much you use in sand etc. but its pretty meaningless really.

L322 is averaging 10.8 over the last year. When the classic is on the road, I'm too scared to work it out...

I use an APP called road trip and record all fuel used. Probably being an old "fuddy duddy" I am always get around the 8.31 litres per 100 kilometres as well I use it to record the fuel in the truck and at 62 and a 1/2 i am also returning between 2.6 and 2.8 kilometres per litre, does that mean I am not one of those truck drivers that "pounds the payment" but rather "enjoy the drive" ?
