I mounted my EMS in place of the clock on the dash of my RR Classic. I got the power wire from the ignition wire at the radio. My radio had one of those junction blocks with about a dozen wires aling it, and I just linked to the ignition wire. There is also an 'always on' wire. I avoided that.
Part of the attraction of using this power was that it was already fused in the fuse box, so no further fuses required.
