I cleaned out the plug and socket at the ECU end and seems to be running fine...for now.
Until you replace the injector harness - Remove the orange seal from the red plug to allow the oil to drain from the engine harness. You can flush the oil out the engine harness with contact cleaner or metho - takes a while to drain through but eventually you will get most of the oil out.

Yep, worked for me. You still have to check for residual oil, if you don't replace the whole harness, and there is no need to do that. Every service, just check the harness, after about 2 services, all good. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

How do you flush the oil out? Do you disconnect the plug at the engine end and syringe the metho through?

Or dunk it metho and blast it with compressed air?

Yes basically. Disconnect the red plug at the ecu, disconnect the injector plug under the front corner of the cylinder head, elevate it, wipe any obvious oil away, pour a small ammount of metho or contact cleaner on the plug leave it for a while and repeat a few times - leave it disconnected overnight or longer. The oil and cleaner will eventually drain out at the red plug.
