    Replacement transfer case

My 2004 Disco 2 has thrown a bearing in the TC at 215k's and I will need to get it repaired or a replacement unit before we embark on a Kimberley trip in late April.
Any feedback on costs and other work that should be done whilst up on the hoist will be appreciated.
    Cheers

Is it Auto or Manual, if an auto I would get a filter change and new oil, would also drain and replace diff oil, have front and rear wheel bearings checked, also check brake pads for wear, a general check on suspension bushes and shocks and mounts. I could have a quick squiz underneath for you (gratis), before you go spending money, if you wish, seeing as we are nieghbours, Frank.Stanton@bigpond.com ,Regards Frank

Thanks Tank, it is a manual and is now in the repairers in Batemans awaiting assessment.
