    Loanrangie, I agree with your above statement. I also feel that in good working order they are a great bit of kit. With a bit of thought and good execution, they could be retained in a lifted suspension.

    Yes, my old man had 4 RRC's from 74-88 and all were completely stock so the boge unit worked well when we used travel all over the east coast towing a van.
    My previous rangies, an 81 2dr i bought in 94 and an 85 that i bought in 2002 , i gave lifts so i removed the boges and they were completely stuffed - both vehicles were stock .
