No one? Come on fellows, you're the td5, 200/300tdi, 2.5 experts! I know someone has had this issue before.

Hello from the USA.... Georgia actually. I'm a owner of a D-130 TD5 and need some advice from the Landy experts.
I was having intermittent problems with my TD5 going from a smooth normal idle, to running roughly as is as missing in a cylinder. It would still run, but with a loss of power and a rough go. I checked the ECU plug, good to go. I noticed over time the fuel pump had grown much louder, even to a screaming screeching noise fairly often. So I bought a new fuel pump.
I installed it yesterday, no problem. After installing it and putting everything back together, I fired the truck up, it cranked and idled for 10 minutes as if it was totally fixed. I jumped in it for a test drive (all while staying cranked) and took off down the road. I got about a mile away, and it died as if it ran out of fuel. I went through the TD5 air purging sequence a few times by the book, but no start. Got it back to the shop, performed the air purging sequence more than 10 times, still no start.
I can hear the new fuel pump working during the air purging process, I also checked the fuel filter under the rear passenger wheel well... And the pump was getting fuel to it. I even checked the fuel line going into the fuel cooler near the engine block, and it had fuel too. I am stumped! It will not fire.
I've read they can be very stubborn with purging air, and that sometimes it takes a long time to get the air out of the system. But this much? I followed the air purging instructions exactly every time.

Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Did you get all the lines hooked up properly..
and the td5 is about the easiest to bleed diesel I've ever had to work on. unless you got a faulty pump or dislodged one of the internal lines on the pump on install or have accidentally enabled the security on a D2 ECU in a deefer I cant think of anything that would cause your symptoms short of hooking the lines up to the pump incorrectly.

Thanks, Dave. I'm going to drop the tank again tomorrow, and check the lines for correct fitting. That's my suspicion too.

I have heard there is a fuel reset switch in the middle of the engine fire wall.
It is for acccidents/colisions, would that be the problem ?
doubtful, the pump runs, that switch is supposed to kill the ECU and fuel pump power feeds while turning on the hazardz and popping the door locks

Kelbo,I have just cut an access hole for the pump on my TD5 110,the hoses should be in this order, photo is taken looking from the rear door. The left hand hose may have had white tag[washed off?].The new pump would have had a white plug in the left hand connection and a black plug in the right hand connection.
