    Master cylinder kit, DII

Master cylinder kit has anyone managed to get one for a D II, brake dealers seem to want to sell me a complete master cylinder, or just a reservoir kit.

The reason I think I need one was last weekend the pedal went along way towards the floor felt like I lost 50% braking and it was pulling to the right so RH brake and LH rear only working, but came right by the time I got home.

No fluid loss but car is 14 years old now and has 260K on clock I have owned it the whole time so can assume cups are worn, change the fluid every 2 years.
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

Don't bother with kits , waste of money

There is a reason why you need to replace the piston rubbers and that is because they are letting fluid past

This is normally caused by worn or damaged bore and therefore putting in new rubbers will get nackered by the reason the last one went. You will be back in there replacing them in a couple of months if you put a kit in.
Normally the kits are more than 3/4 the price of the new complete cylinder anyway.
