    TerraFirma +2" shock tower question.

Does anybody here have any experience with the TF +2" front shock towers? The centre of the shock mounting point is offset fore & aft from the centre of the flange where the tower bolts to the top of the spring seat. The fitting instructions seem to indicate that the top mount is offset to the front, however that brings the body of the shock very close to the lower edge of the relocation cone, close enough to foul on full compression. Can anybody confirm which way the offset should be, forward or backward?

    Backwards ,towards the cabin .
If you can't fix it with a hammer , you got an electrical problem .......

Modman, running TerraFirma +5"shocks with +2" mounts. got the cones in the front because I'm waiting to get the new longer springs made, so currently running Rang Rover HD rears in the front to cope with the weight of the front end.

Thanks, manchild21000 , I thought that may be the case, however when I turned the drivers side one around, it was hitting the side of the hole in the inner guard. Will make the hole bigger if I cant move the inner guard back a bit. There is no issue on the passenger side, strangely enough!

will do. Got the truck measured for the new springs yesterday, seems they're around 600mm free length in the rear.
