Talking Pittman arm swivel joint removal

Hi there can anybody tell me how to to remove the swivel balljoint on a defender pittman arm I have been spraying crc onto the part and have so far had no luck I would like to do it with the pittman arm still fastened to the steering box if I can otherwise how do I get the pittman arm off. And if that is not an option how easy I'd it to get the steering box out.

you need a bolt and spacers
see here-Land Rover Parts - Steering Drop Arm Ball Joint Fitment and Removal Tool

I found a socket of the right size as a spacer to push the top cone out.

I've since bought the removal tool for next time.
I can measure it up if you like.

The top spring clip holding the rubber boot is rather tight.
you should be able to catch on edge with a small screwdriver and pry it up, letting it compress into the rubber, then work your way around.
The bottom circlip is removed by compressing the bottom plate a little.
Maybe a bottle jack with a short 3/8 extension.

    or check here.

    FYI.
    Just measured the removal tool
Spacer for removal is 21.86mm diameter x 30 mm long

Installation spacer is 28.44mm diameter x11.5mm long

    big washer is 43.88mm x 8.5mm long

bolt is 100mm long ( 70mm shank/30mm thread) 1/2 inch, fine thread, hi tensile.
