    Fuel Injector Replacement D2 V8

I am seeking advice regarding suitable replacement fuel injectors for a 4.0 L Thor V8 without having to sell off my grandchildren. Genuine replacement injectors ranging in price from $400 - $600+ each. OUCH!!
I have tried searching this forum & elsewhere without obtaining meaningful results.
I see mention of Bosch Gem 3 injectors, but these appear to be in relation to earlier engines.

The injectors are Bosch. You can probably get the Bosch part number off of one when you remove it. I assume they are used in other engines with motronics, like BMW and Porsche.

Why do you need to replace them? They seem to be pretty robust. There are some parts places here that sell Bosch replacements, but not in a land rover box, for about $150US.

    56pounds each here:

Land Rover Discovery 2, Range Rover MK II Injector Disc II (ERR6600-O) - Myton Automotive

set of 8 for 340$ (US) Here:

See Fuel-Emissions | Range Rover P38A | British Parts UK scroll down to part ERR6600 £57.82 ...price equates to approx $100 ea. There are various efi specialists who can test and refurb injectors for about $25-30 ea. Btw the injectors are Bosch Gen 3 not Gem 3 (not sure if it was a typo) ...in that they're not related to the GEMS engine necessarily. There have been practical examples of people using injectors specified for ford etc in Rover engines but I haven't seen much in the way of significant improvement changing injectors in the Thor engine from std issue.
MY99 RR P38 HSE 4.6 (Thor) gone (to Tasmania)

    2023 Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster (diesel)

I know people were using Holden 5litre injectors in stroker motors in earlier engines. I would assume as the Thor is only a 4.6 these may be suitable. Someone else may be able to advise. I actually still have a set in the shed somwhere that I bought for my 4.2 stroker when I had it and never got around to using, but dont know how good they are now and am too far away for you to try.
