    Indicator flasher relay only works in the morning ??

    Why does my indicator flasher relay only work in the mornings?
    Car is a V8 county
    The relay and indicators work for about ten minutes first thing on the way to work and then it just buzzes and won't work but the next morning its all good again.
    The same thing happened about 18 months ago and I replaced it, but at $40 I don't really feel like spending money on another one.
    Is this a common fault ?
    I checked all the connections and earths.
    I'm also pretty sure its not heat related as I have moved the relay away from the firewall.

    Have you replaced your bulbs with leds?

    I would guess a bad earth have you checked it when it is happening as the buzzing is more likely the relay operating at high speed?

    I have had my county for 15 years and never touched the relay.

    Having owned a few Counties - it will be a loose earth somewhere. Either that or you have replaced the flasher unit with the incorrect type. Is it marked AM ? should be stamped AM/PM or 24Hr
