Spraying assembled lucas bullet connectors with lanolin

I've just replaced about 25 corroded lucas bullet connectors (the female part; the male brass bullets were ok) in the front and rear wiring looms of my 110.

To prevent this happening again, I'm considering spraying the assembled connectors with lanolin spray. However, I know lanolin is a fairly good insulator. Is the lanolin likely to penetrate between all the metal contact areas and cause more problems than it solves, or is it a good idea?

Use CRC 2.26 Electrical spray. I have used it for years with great results.
