As I have replaced or upgraded many things on my new D1 but still increased water temps on the beach. The next job is an oil change on the auto, in an attempt to keep it cooler as well. I am getting a override switch fitted to the thermo fans next week, to try and get oil cooler down in temp and push more air thru rad at low speeds.

What do you guys recommend in the way of gear box oils?? Is there any gain to go to syn oil ??

If so what's the best way to change out old oil and go over to syn.

I have read the threads on up grading the oil cooler to the P38, as I live behind Blacksmiths beach and that is the bulk of my D1,s work load , I think that will be the next big improvement.
