Thread: Rocker alignment against valves

    G'day John.
    That setup does look wrong, interesting to read the different comments/reasons.
    However just looking in my s3 manual (gen LR) it shows different rocker arms between petrol and diesel.
    Could it be that you have some incorrect rocker arms installed?
    Diesel rocker arms are shorter, different oil holes (diesel ones come out above the contact with the valve stem) and look to have a slightly different offset

    Hey Mike,

    I'm slowly getting to the bottom of this. There is a bit more about it in my Re-fit thread in the II and IIA forum. Hopefully I can sort out things tomorrow.
