Whine -transfer or rear diff-VIDEO UPDATE

My 300 tdi defender developed a whine from the rear . I have a disco diff in the rear . It always been noisy around 60 while coasting which isn't a great worry . However its now sounds like its a winding down train if that makes sense all the way to stopping the truck and way louder than before and there is a clunk between gear changes . There is no grinding noise of any kind . Im tossing up between input gear and/or rear diff bearing . Im going to remove rear prop tomorrow and go for a gentle drive around the block to start the elimination process. If noise still there i'll take the front shaft off and go for a drive just on the rear prop . rear diff has been set up only around 5-600 k ago , transfer just been swapped out to a 1.221 to offset the 4.37 diff gears .
Anyone had similar issues ? Is it anything else i should try ? On second thought i should try it with the centre diff engaged first and nothing else changed . Any thoughts ?
    cheers
THE NOISE IS BETWEEN 25-30 SEC AND ALSO 50 SEC ONWARDS- sound like a bearing to me more and more

Tyres? No I'm not joking. I have just proven that a whine in my Deafener is NOT the diff, but the tyres. Swapped them over with a full set from a mate's truck and no whining noise. Worth a look.

Good idea I've had 2 tyres that wore heel toed. And made a whine noise while driving then over time as you slow to a set of lights it starts to feel like a set of simexs

How did you guess Grimace ? lol
After taking off the rear prop it was a fair bit quieter. Taking out the driveshaft completely stopped the noise. Pulled diff centre and looks like the near new pinion bearing is failing and/or preload is gone .
    cheers
