    200TDI Injectors

Hi, My son has a Defender with the 200 TDI which is running rough and I believe it may be the injectors, we have a second motor and I have removed the injectors from that one. I note they are a bosch injector and look to have a replaceable nozzle. Anyone out there ever serviced these? Can you do it yourself or is there an exchange business out there? I rang a few local places and have been told they will only supply new ones (for the price of a 4 bedroom house with ocean views!)

    Cheers

Nigel had a similar problem not too long ago. I took Nigel to United Fuel Injection who advised that mine were shot. At a little over $400, they replaced mine. I don't recall off hand what brand though.

I don't think Tdi injectors cost much ! <$100 each anyway (I assume they are the same for 200 and 300?)
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

It would seem that injectors are more expensive in WA as I have been quoted just under $300.00 each.
I was also told replacementt nozzles cant be purchased, but I have seen some on ebay ex UK. anyone know about these?

200TDI injectors are expensive, under $300 each is one of the cheaper quotes I have heard. 300TDI ones go for around $600 a set. I have seen the nozzles replacements, around $250 delivered for a set. I would like to do mine as well.
