And it was originally around $600 if you look at earlier posts so almost double.
This is a no brainer. I'd be steering clear of Ross and Ritters - it'd be Turners for me warranty and all.
I'd be happier saving the $500 than knowing I'd bought from a 'local' supplier and supported a 'local' middle man.
A $500 saving is not a big deal - it's a good deal

i try to buy Australian where possible but i wont pay the Australian tax on something, or in business iam running the local supplier tax, that with nothing but a middle man added jumping the price $150 when the orginal price was most likely a rrp by ross in the first place.
a $150 price increase for simply sending emails to ross to order and where to send item is a but steep imo
and i had all ready said if they had of had the price at 1200 to start with we wouldent be having this conversation but we would be all asking if the ross balancer was worth the extra asking price
So at what km's does the factory one fail. Mine is still factory and I would like to try and plan/budget when I will need to do it.
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
1983 RR gone (wish I kept it)
1996 TDI ES.
2003 TD5 HSE
1987 Isuzu County
Mine died at 240kk but that was due to a leaking power steering pump.
When you buy a Ross Balancer you are buying a vastly superior piece of kit.
If anyone wants a cheap one (original type) I have one in the markets section that's done less than 10000 Ka it even includes one of Petes tools to take it off
Advanced factors Uk advertises them for 135 GBP But out of stock until December
Probably worth buying for a spare????
We can supply Ross, but nobody ever asks![]()
