No more broken axle housings?
I'm chatting to Bill from GBR Utah about some other stuff and he dropped the hint that he is about to release a HD 1 piece axle and flange (rear diff to be blatantly obvious). It was mentioned in the context of the salisbury diff so you will have to make your own enquiries if his intent is to develop the product across other diff types.
No more clunks, worn splines and leaking flange gaskets.

No more broken axle housings?
Hi
I've had the one piece flanges and axles from rovertracks on my truck for 4+ years now. (no longer doing them)
I agree they are a good thing: no spline ends to wear, no press on rubber caps to be knocked off and easier to pull apart in the bush - no looking for circlips in the dirt. All up it's not a huge advantage but it's real one they'll need something else: strength, price to sell enough of 'em I reckon.
I run oil lubed bearing and that one less interface to leak, though a small leak exists on one of my flanges -so they can still leak just less likely.

You are still going to have a seal at the flange, whether it one piece or two. If you say its not an issue because you use grease, then its not an issue for a two peice shaft and flange.
If you cant be bothered greasing your drive flange and shaft splines then that probably says something...
If you run oil its an issue for both. But oil will lube the splines at the flange end of a two piece set up and reduce spline wear. How many MD or Ashcroft drive flanges leak at the cap?
If the one piece shaft makes you feel warm and fuzzy, go for it.
